WELCOME!
I'm Daniella
I’ve been a photographer for 10 years, exploring lots of different styles and forms, but recently I’ve decided to put my focus (and a LOT of passion) into headshot photography.
I’ve spent the last 20 years working both in front of and behind the camera, across many different areas of the film industry.
I’ve worked as a Studio Director alongside Casting Directors in both Cape Town and Melbourne, produced short films and a proof-of-concept TV show, and worked on film sets as a stills photographer, most recently shooting stills for the upcoming feature film Kick On directed by Nick Kozakis which has recently made its international debut at TIFF.
I’m also an actress, represented by Select Actors Management. I’ve trained at VCA, TAFTA and @melbourneactorslab with Peter Kalos, as well as studying abroad in London.
I’ve appeared in commercials for a number of brands including Fiat, Four Seasons, Kellogg’s and A2 Milk, and have had roles in various, short films, music videos and independent feature films.
I’m still actively auditioning today, and I love living in both worlds.
I understand what it’s like to be the person in front of the camera. The nerves. The overthinking. The pressure to “look right”. The million questions about what casting directors and agents might want to see. I can guide you through it all.
My job is to take all of that anxiety away and help you feel comfortable enough to actually be yourself in front of the camera.
I’m an incredibly passionate creative, I LOVE working with people, hearing their stories and bringing out the best in them, and hopefully creating images that will get you seen!

This industry is more complex than ever before.
But getting your headshots done shouldn't be
I'm going to reveal my age here, but I've been in this industry for a long, lonnnng time. I started out submitting my CV, Headshots and Showreel via the OG snail mail. With a return envelope to post back to me so I don't loose my hard copies. Not kidding - my Showreel was on a VHS I had to copy many times, my headshot had to be black and white and strictly 8x10. My CV was on actual paper and had to fit on one A4 page. Have a look at my first ever headshot when I was just 18 years old .... yeah... I know.
This was how I would submit myself to agents and casting directors. Finding said agents and casting directors was on a whole other level. Newspapers, the odd flyer and very slow unreliable internet sources.
Things have changed SO MUCH and honestly for the good! What a time to be an actor!
Over the years I have learned how to adapt in this industry. As an actress , photographer & film maker.
